A massive playoff weekend awaits across the college hockey landscape.

Before the puck drops, I’ve put together thoughts and predictions for every game and series around the country in the latest issue (#659) of College Hockey Insider.

Atlantic Hockey Semifinals

Best of 3 series, hosted by the higher seed

(1) Bentley vs. (4) Holy Cross: The Crusaders have gotten hot at the right time, riding a four-game winning streak into the semifinals. All four victories came against RIT, which is actually more impressive than it might initially sound — beating the same team four straight times is never easy.

Bentley has been the league’s most consistent team all season, though, and that consistency should matter in a series like this. I’m picking the Falcons to advance, but it won’t come easy. This one feels destined for a third game.
