Weekend Preview: Penn State again in a marquee matchup this weekend
Other big games include BU vs. Quinnipiac, Bemidji State vs. Michigan Tech, and Air Force vs. Holy Cross
On the heels of last weekend’s series at Michigan State, Penn State finds itself once again in one of the premier matchups of the weekend as the Nittany Lions host Michigan on home ice.
Today’s issue (#609) takes a look at several key series on tap.
Boston University vs. Quinnipiac is a heavyweight non-conference showdown for both programs — and another chance for Hockey East to course-correct what has been a challenging start to its out-of-league schedule.
Bemidji State vs. Michigan Tech features two of the CCHA’s top teams, each entering the weekend unbeaten in conference play.
And in Atlantic Hockey, two of the hottest teams in the league square off when Holy Cross meets Air Force.
Finally, I have some weekend picks, with plays in UMass-BC, Wisconsin-Ohio State, and Michigan-Penn State.
