Total of 76 NCAA players selected at the 2025 NHL Draft

The Boston Bruins selected James Hagens with the No. 7 overall pick on Friday night at the NHL Draft. The BC product began a run of 76 current or future NCAA players selected over two days at the NHL Draft in Los Angeles.

What’s unusual about this year’s total is that the number could grow in the coming weeks, as some CHL players could decide on NCAA destinations soon.
