Zam Plante was the hero for a second night in a row, scoring a late tying goal and overtime winner for Minnesota Duluth as the Bulldogs advanced to next week’s NCHC semifinal.

There was a lot more playoff action around the country as well.

Minnesota Duluth 2, St. Cloud State 1 (OT): For the second night in a row, Zam Plante was the hero for UMD. Just like in Game 1, Plante tied the game in the final minute — this time with 31 seconds remaining — and then delivered the overtime winner to send the Bulldogs through to the semifinals
