Good morning.
Before we recap Saturday’s action, I wanted to reminder readers that there is some college hockey on the docket for today. Army visits Holy Cross at 4 p.m. Et on FloHockey.
Let’s get into last night’s action, looking at every score, and notes from every game around the country on Saturday night.

Michigan 4, Denver 3
This was a wild one, featuring disallowed goals and some of the wackiest bounces I’ve seen in a while. Asher Barnett was credited with the winner with less than five minutes left in the third period.
That goal was especially wacky. Barnett’s shot from the blue line sailed over the net, ricocheted off the end glass, came back over the top of the net, hit Ryan Lin’s skate and ended up in the net. It was initially waved off because officials thought Nick Moldenhauer had hit the puck with a high stick, but he actually fanned on it.
The Pioneers were also without Johnny Hicks for the second game in a row.
Merrimack 8, Minnesota State 2
The Warriors exploded early and led 7-0 early in the second period. It was the most goals Minnesota State has allowed in a game since 2011. Nathan King and Ty Daneault each scored twice, and Daneault’s goals came just 15 seconds apart, both in the first 25 seconds of the second period. They were the fastest back-to-back goals in college hockey in more than two years and the fastest by a Merrimack player since at least 1999, as far back as the available data goes.
