Our Saturday recap has scores and notes from every game around college hockey.

Maine headlined the night, salvaging a weekend split and handing Quinnipiac its first loss of the season. The Bobcats had opened with three straight wins over Hockey East opponents. Elsewhere, Bowling Green won the Ice Breaker title, Mike Hastings and Wisconsin swept Minnesota State in Mankato, Arizona State bounced back with an overtime win, and there’s plenty more.

Wisconsin 4, Minnesota State 1

Mike Hastings’ Badgers finished off the sweep in Mankato, holding the Mavericks to 18 shots on goal. Zach Wooten had a goal and an assist, and Daniel Hauser made 17 saves in his first start of the weekend.

Maine 5, Quinnipiac 3

The Black Bears salvaged a split and handed Quinnipiac its first loss of the season. The Bobcats had opened 3-0 against Hockey East opponents and led 3-2 early in the second period before Isa Parekh tied it and Lee Parks put Maine ahead for good.
