Good morning, everyone. Thanks for spending part of your Sunday with College Hockey Insider.

Sorry for the late recap. I had some travel issues — that’s what we’ll call it for now — on the way back from Quinnipiac last night, so I’m a little late getting this posted.

In short, I’m home, but my car is still in Hamden and might never make its way back to Massachusetts. We’ll see. It’s also missing part of its back end, the rear axle appears to be snapped, and several pieces of the car were strewn across the road.

But other than that, I really enjoyed the night at Quinnipiac!

It was only my second time at M&T Bank Arena. Quinnipiac has a great campus, and its arena setup should be the envy of any “mid-major” athletic department playing college hockey.

It was another relatively light night on the schedule. Things will get a lot busier next week, when most exhibitions are over and nearly every game counts toward the regular season.

Here are all the scores, along with notes from every game around college hockey Saturday night.

Lindenwood 9, Arizona State 6: The Lions salvaged a split against the Sun Devils in a wild game in Maryland Heights. Lindenwood jumped out to a 3-0 lead before ASU scored four straight to go ahead 4-3. The Lions answered with four consecutive goals of their own to take a 7-4 lead. ASU scored twice to pull within one, but Lindenwood added two empty-net goals to put the game away. Brady McIsaac (LU), Anselmo Rego (LU) and Nathan Behm (ASU) each scored twice.

Colorado College 6, UMass 1: The Tigers completed an impressive weekend sweep of the Minutemen. Jackson Unger made 22 saves. Tobias Trejbal saw his first NCAA action in goal for UMass, taking over for Jackson Irving.
