The Gavin McKenna saga could soon come to a close. This issue is a long notebook with notes from around college hockey, but it leads off with what seems like a pending commitment decision from the projected No. 1 pick in 2026.

Who is in? What do the offers look like? We’ll break it down.

• On top of McKenna, is there another top CHL’er heading to college? It seems like No. 6 overall pick Porter Martone is either going to sign with the Flyers, or NCAA could be an option.
