Hockey East announces schedule changes

Hockey East announced a slew of changes to its weekend schedule. With the announcement came confirmation that Merrimack, Providence and Boston University will all open their seasons this upcoming weekend.

The men’s programs at Boston College and Providence are now scheduled for a home-and-home series December 4-5. Both games will air live on NESN. Friday…
