Alright, with playoff recaps, I wanted to make sure I not only grabbed the box scores for every game, but also watched highlights and clips from games I didn’t see live last night.

Before getting into the recap, let me address our preview from yesterday. Yes, I know the ECAC first round is single elimination. Yes, I had my picks listed as series. In my head, every league was already in the quarterfinal round — the ECAC was the only conference playing this weekend that wasn’t — and it was an error on my part. I appreciate those of you who politely pointed it out.

Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals

Holy Cross 2, RIT 1 (OT) (HC leads 1-0): RIT led 1–0 late in the third period, but Noah Eyre scored with under a minute remaining, tying the game with a 6-on-4 goal. Midway through overtime, William Elias buried the winner to give the Crusaders a 1–0 series lead.
