Hockey East
Vermont 3, Boston University 2: Thomas Sinclair scored his first goal of the season with 21 seconds remaining to lift the Catamounts past BU. Nick Roukounakis had tied the game midway through the third period before Sinclair delivered the dramatic game-winner.
New Hampshire 3, Maine 2: The Wildcats secured a weekend sweep in Orono, despite generating just 31 shots on goal over the two games (14 and 17, respectively). Kyle Chauvette was outstanding once again, stopping 28 shots to backstop UNH to victory.
Northeastern 3, UMass 2 (OT): The Minutemen stormed back with two late third-period goals to force overtime, including Jack Musa’s extra-attacker tally with 1:41 left. But Dylan Hryckowian sealed the deal 3:44 into the extra frame, giving the Huskies their 10th win of the season (10-4).
