Friday's early games are complete, and a monumental shift in the Pairwise took place.

St. Lawrence defeated Quinnipiac in the ECAC semifinals, which makes the ECAC a two-bid league and eliminates an at-large bid.

This significantly impacted Colorado College and UMass, after the Minutemen lost to BC 8-1 in the Hockey East semifinals.

UMass and Colorado College are virtually tied in RPI. The deciding factor for who claims the last NCAA Tournament spot could be as little as 0.00001 RPI points.
