The NCAA is considering granting all student-athletes five years of eligibility. I explore why this change is being discussed and its potential impact on college hockey.

College hockey’s independent programs are discussing the possibility of a postseason tournament. Nothing is finalized, and it’s still in the early stages, but a potential tournament has been discussed.
