Michigan State 4, Wisconsin 1: The Spartans completed the road sweep of the Badgers at the Kohl Center, with Daniel Russell scoring twice — once on the power play and once shorthanded. Michigan State is now No. 3 in the NPI following the win.

Michigan 5, Minnesota 1: The Wolverines didn’t miss a beat without Jack Ivankovic, steamrolling the Gophers in Minneapolis. Stephen Peck faced little sustained pressure, finishing with 17 saves as Michigan outshot Minnesota 52-18.

Penn State 4, Notre Dame 1: Matt DiMarsico scored a hat trick — giving him 13 goals on the season — while Joshua Fleming turned aside 41 shots for the Nittany Lions. Gavin McKenna chipped in with two assists.

NCHC

North Dakota 5, Denver 0: UND opened the series with a statement, blanking the Pioneers while holding a 36-18 edge in shots. Anthony Menghini scored twice, and Denver starter Quentin Miller was pulled after two periods after allowing four goals on 20 shots. The Pioneers are now winless in their last six games.
