Canisius goaltender Petter Wickström Stumer set a modern record for saves in a regulation game with 72 stops in a 4-3 win over Lindenwood on Saturday night.

Canisius 4, Lindenwood 3: Lindenwood unleashed a staggering 75 shots on goal — including 34 in the third period alone — but it was Canisius that found a way through with a victory. Petter Wickström Stumer delivered a remarkable 72-save performance, while Rhys Chiddenton and Alton McDermott each scored twice for the Golden Griffins.
Wickström Stumer’s 72 saves are the most recorded by a Division I goaltender in a regulation game dating back to the start of CHN’s records in 2002–03, surpassing Jocelyn Guimond’s 66-save outing for RIT in 2005–06. Overall, it ranks fifth all-time (including overtime games) in that span.
RIT 1, Penn State 0: It was a goaltending clinic from Jakub Krbecek, who turned aside all 44 shots he faced to earn the shutout. Evan Konyen scored the lone goal for RIT.
Denver 3, Maine 3 (OT): The Black Bears forced overtime with an extra-attacker goal from Frank Djurasevic with 2:27 remaining in regulation, salvaging the tie. Eric Pohlkamp scored his 13th goal of the season for Denver.
UConn 3, Long Island 1: Alexandre Blais and Carlin Dezainde each posted a goal and an assist for the Huskies. Despite the loss, LIU goaltender Daniel Duris was sharp, stopping 39 shots.
Alaska 5, Providence 1: Alaska rebounded to earn a split, scoring five unanswered goals. Providence struggled on the man advantage, finishing 1-for-9 on the power play.
North Dakota 6, Mercyhurst 1: Mercyhurst struck first on a goal by Dominik Bartecko, but North Dakota responded with six straight goals. Salvatore Evola made 35 saves for the Lakers in his first start since 2023 after Charles-Edward Gravel was injured Friday. Ellis Rickwood recorded four points (1g, 3a), and Dylan James scored a hat trick.
Merrimack 3, Brown 2: The Warriors extended their winning streak to four games. Ryan St. Louis scored twice for Brown, while Nick Pierre’s 10th goal of the season midway through the third period stood up as the game-winner.
Stonehill 3, St. Lawrence 3 (OT): Joseph Grainda scored early in the third period to draw Stonehill even and force overtime.
Bowling Green 5, Ohio State 3: Bowling Green erupted for three unanswered goals in the third period to pull away. The game featured 77 total penalty minutes, and Tyler Hotson led the Falcons with four points (2g, 2a).
Augustana 4, Colorado College 2: Defenseman Hayden Hennen scored twice for the Vikings, and Christian Manz made 31 saves. Colorado College generated 3.7 expected goals but managed just two tallies, despite a 22-5 edge in shots during the second period.
Western Michigan 4, Notre Dame 0: Hampton Slukynsky completed a weekend sweep of shutouts, stopping 18 shots Friday and 33 more Saturday. Grant Slukynsky chipped in with two points (1g, 1a).
Clarkson 6, Niagara 2: Clarkson took control early, scoring three first-period goals and outshooting Niagara 13-3 in the opening frame. Remi Gelinas had three assists, and defenseman Tate Taylor finished with three points (1g, 2a).
Vermont 3, RPI 0: Third-period goals from Blake Steenerson, Jens Richards (empty net), and Daniel Sambuco (empty net) sealed the win. Aiden Wright earned the shutout with 30 saves.
Cornell 3, Omaha 2: Jonathan Castagna’s early third-period goal proved to be the difference. Jeremy Loranger scored both goals for Omaha.
Colgate 3, New Hampshire 2: Simon Labelle tied the game late in the second period, and Jake Schneider scored with 1:13 remaining in regulation to lift Colgate. Reid Dyck stopped 24 shots.

Championship Game
Arizona State 5, Air Force 2: The Falcons kept pressing, but Connor Hasley was steady in goal with 33 saves. Carmelo Crandell scored twice for the Sun Devils.
Michigan Tech 5, Alaska Anchorage 0: The Huskies bounced back with a convincing win. Teydon Trembecky scored twice, defenseman Jack Anderson recorded a hat trick, and Owen Bartoszkiewicz posted a 25-save shutout.

St. Cloud State 3, UMass Lowell 2: The River Hawks nearly pulled off a comeback after trailing 3-0, scoring twice late in the third period, including Dillan Bentley’s extra-attacker goal with three seconds remaining.
Minnesota State 4, Yale 3: The Mavericks controlled play with a 38-18 edge in shots on goal and built a 3-0 lead in the second period. Max Beckford got the start in net.

Princeton 3, Harvard 2: Kai Daniells scored with just two seconds remaining to give Princeton the regulation win. Ben Charette and Arthur Smith each made 33 saves at opposite ends.
Quinnipiac 5, Dartmouth 3: Quinnipiac erased deficits of 1-0 and 3-2 before scoring three straight goals. Markus Vidicek tied the game late in the second period, and Mason Marcellus scored early in the third to put the Bobcats ahead for good.

Lake Superior 2, Northern Michigan 1 (OT): Adam Barone scored the overtime winner, and Rorke Applebee made 29 saves.
St. Thomas 8, Ferris State 4: Jake Braccini led the Tommies with four points (2g, 2a), while Alex Gaffney and Lucas Van Vliet each added three points. St. Thomas went 3-for-6 on the power play.
Atlantic Hockey
Bentley 8, Holy Cross 3: Bentley spread the scoring around, with eight different players finding the back of the net. Michael Mesic finished with three assists.
Sacred Heart 3, Robert Morris 1: Liam Lesakowski’s first goal of the season midway through the third period gave the Pioneers breathing room. Robert Morris fired 47 shots, but Teagan Kendrick was outstanding, stopping 46.
