Hockey East

The teams traded tallies midway through the second, and a pair of goals by Matteo Michels pulled the Catamounts within one in the third. Daniel Astapovich scored his first NCAA goal for Merrimack, which has now won three straight.
Non-Conference
Clarkson 3, RIT 2: Ryan Bottrill scored twice in the second period to put Clarkson in front, and Talon Sigurdson delivered what proved to be the game-winner in the third. Evan Konyen scored twice for RIT, including a late goal that tightened things in the final minutes.
