Big Ten
Michigan State 2, Penn State 1 (OT): Tiernan Shoudy’s goal 2:21 into overtime was the difference. Anthony Romani also scored for the Spartans, while Gavin McKenna notched his fourth of the season for Penn State.
Michigan 7, Wisconsin 4: The Wolverines erupted for four goals in the third period. TJ Hughes recorded four points (1g, 3a), and Michael Hage scored twice.
Minnesota 3, Notre Dame 0: The Gophers are finally on the board with a win, holding the Irish to just 19 shots. Luca Di Pasquo posted the shutout.
Hockey East
Boston University 3, Merrimack 2 (OT): The Warriors led 2-1 until the final minutes when Jack Murtagh tied it and Cole Hutson won it in overtime.
UMass 4, Maine 0: Daniel Jenko scored twice for the Minutemen. Defenseman Francesco Dell’Elce added two points, and Jackson Irving turned aside all 38 shots he faced.
New Hampshire 2, UMass Lowell 0: Kyle Chauvette made 26 saves for the shutout. Cam MacDonald and Ryan Philbrick scored for the Wildcats.
Providence 4, UConn 1: The Friars grabbed a road win behind two goals from Logan Sawyer. Tanner Adams chipped in a goal and an assist.
Boston College 2, Vermont 1: Dean Letourneau scored his third of the year, and Louka Cloutier stopped 29 shots for the Eagles.
NCHC
Minnesota Duluth 4, St. Cloud State 0: Fresh off an invite to the Spengler Cup roster, Adam Gajan stopped 18 shots for the shutout. Ty Hanson picked up three assists for UMD.
Denver 3, Western Michigan 1: The Pioneers scored three times in the third period to seal it. Western had the edge in shots and expected goals, but Denver made its chances count.
North Dakota 7, Omaha 2: UND rolled in this one. Mac Swanson (1g, 2a) and Ben Strinden (2g, 1a) each had three points, while Will Zellers and Dylan James both scored twice.
Colorado College 3, Arizona State 3: The Sun Devils won the shootout after storming back from a 3-0 deficit. Bennett Schimek and Jack Beck both had three points.
ECAC
Brown 2, Princeton 1: There wasn’t a 5-on-5 goal all night. Ben Poitras (Brown) and Jake Manfre (Princeton) scored on the power play, while Ryan St. Louis added a shorthanded tally in the third that stood as the game-winner.
Dartmouth 4, Colgate 1: Neither team cracked 20 shots (19-19). Hayden Stavroff had a three-point effort (1g, 2a) for Dartmouth.
St. Lawrence 4, RPI 3: The Engineers trailed 4-1 late before scoring twice in the final 1:07 to make it close. Cooper Pierson collected two assists.
Cornell 3, Harvard 1: Harvard struck first, but the Big Red rallied, tying it in the second and taking control in the third. Jonathan Castagna scored twice.
Clarkson 5, Union 1: Despite being outshot 40-17, the Golden Knights capitalized on their chances. Talon Sigurdson scored two goals for Clarkson.
Yale 4, Quinnipiac 2: Yale stormed back with four unanswered goals. James Shannon and Ronan O’Donnell each tallied two points (1g, 1a).
Atlantic Hockey
Holy Cross 5, Niagara 1: Holy Cross dominated, outshooting Niagara 46-16. Matt DeBoer had a three-point night (1g, 2a).
Bentley 3, Army 3: Army claimed the extra league point in the shootout. Barron Woodring took 35 draws (18-17) and added two points for the Black Knights.
RIT 4, Mercyhurst 1: The Lakers remain winless at 0-10. Austin Brimmer and Christian Catalano each finished with two points.
Air Force 4, Sacred Heart 1: The Falcons made the most of their seven power plays (2-for-7). Defenseman Chris Hedden had two goals and an assist.
CCHA
Michigan Tech 4, Northern Michigan 1: Stiven Sardarian scored twice, and Owen Bartoszkiewicz made 26 saves.
Bemidji State 4, Lake Superior 1: The Lakers managed only 11 shots. Vann Yuhas contributed a pair of assists.
Augustana 4, Ferris State 2: Josh Kotai made 28 saves for the Vikings. Leonid Bulgakov and Jacob Jastrzebski each recorded two points.
Bowling Green 4, Minnesota State 4: The Mavericks won the shootout after Noah Morneau tied it with an extra-attacker goal at 1:03 of the third. Morneau scored twice, and Tristan Lemyre piled up four points (2g, 2a) for Minnesota State.
Non-Conference
Northeastern 2, Stonehill 0: Another stellar outing for Lawton Zacher, who made 36 saves for the shutout. Despite the loss, Stonehill outshot the Huskies 36-20 and deserved a better fate.
Long Island 6, Robert Morris 3: Onni Lepanen scored twice for the Sharks and was one of six LIU players with two points. Jaden Dyke went 11-3 on faceoffs.
