Hockey East
Northeastern 3, Boston College 0: The Huskies swept BC on the weekend, thanks largely to Lawton Zacher, who turned aside 32 shots for the shutout. Zacher stopped 72 of 73 shots over the two-game set.
Providence 5, UMass Lowell 2: Jonathan Fauchon posted two points (1g, 1a) as the Friars jumped out to a 3-1 first-period lead, forcing Lowell to change goaltenders. Austin Elliott replaced Samuel Richard after the opening frame.
Maine 5, Boston University 4 (OT): Justin Poirier tied the game midway through the third period, and Brandon Holt scored his first goal of the season in overtime to lift the Black Bears. Poirier finished with three points (2g, 1a).
New Hampshire 4, Vermont 2: The Wildcats pulled ahead with 4:05 remaining on a goal from Ryan Philbrick. New Hampshire outshot Vermont 36-17, while Jason Siedem tallied three assists.
Big Ten
Penn State 4, Ohio State 3: The Nittany Lions completed a weekend sweep over the Buckeyes. JJ Wiebusch (1g, 1a), Matt DiMarsico (1g, 1a), and Gavin McKenna (2a) all registered two-point nights.
Michigan 5, Notre Dame 3: Michigan jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back. Will Horcoff scored twice, while T.J. Hughes added three points (1g, 2a). Danny Nelson had a three-point effort (1g, 2a) for Notre Dame.

Minnesota Duluth 4, North Dakota 3 (OT): The Bulldogs stayed red-hot. It looked like UMD might squander a late lead after Mac Swanson and Ben Strinden scored 2:47 apart in the final minutes to tie it, but Ty Hanson ended it just 43 seconds into overtime. Zam Plante (1g, 3a) and Max Plante (2g, 2a) each notched four points.
Western Michigan 6, St. Cloud State 5: The teams combined for six goals in a wild third period. Merrimack transfer Zach Bookman scored his first as a Bronco with 4:47 left to seal the win. William Whitelaw (1g, 2a) had three points.
Arizona State 4, Miami 1: Miami suffered its first loss of the season after taking an early 1-0 lead. The Sun Devils responded with four unanswered goals, including two late in the first. Bennett Schimek (1g, 2a) led the charge with three points.
Omaha 3, Colorado College 2: Colorado College fired 50 shots but fell short. Luke Woodworth and Griffin Ludtke had two assists apiece for Omaha, while Simon Latkoczy stopped 48 shots.

Augustana 2, Northern Michigan 1: Augustana controlled most of the game despite the narrow margin. Leonid Bulgakov and Brett Meerman each had two-point nights, while William Gramme made 46 saves for Northern Michigan.
Bemidji State 4, Bowling Green 4 (SO): The Beavers earned the extra CCHA point with a shootout win after scoring twice in the final 4:54 to force overtime.
Minnesota State 3, St. Thomas 1: St. Thomas grabbed a 1-0 lead before the Mavericks rallied with three unanswered goals in the third period. Alex Tracy made 24 saves in the win.

RPI 5, Union 2: Eric Lang earned his first win as RPI head coach against the school’s longtime rival. Tyler Wallace scored twice, Filip Satar added two assists, and Nate Krawchuk stopped 45 shots for the Engineers.
AHA
Holy Cross 2, Sacred Heart 2 (SO): Holy Cross prevailed in the shootout. Jack Stockfish scored both Crusader goals.
Bentley 3, Mercyhurst 1: Alec Leonard netted the game-winner just 52 seconds into the third period, while Owen Goodbrand added two goals for the Falcons.
Robert Morris 4, Niagara 2: The Colonials earned their first win of the season. Tanner Klimpke scored twice, and Cameron Garvey contributed two points (1g, 1a).
Non-Conference
Alaska Anchorage 4, Denver 3 (OT): Another early-season upset. Dimitry Kebreau buried the winner with 1:05 left in overtime after James Reeder tied it for Denver with 1:20 left in regulation.
Harvard 1, UConn 1 (OT): The Huskies won a 10-round shootout for pride. Tabor Heaslip scored for UConn, while Richard Gallant notched his first collegiate goal for Harvard.
UMass 2, Cornell 1: A late Cornell penalty proved costly. Václav Nestrašil scored on the ensuing power play with 1:39 left to give the Minutemen the win. Cornell outshot UMass 28-16.
Princeton 5, Alaska 2: Jaxson Ezman scored his first two goals of the season as the Tigers rolled on opening night.
St. Lawrence 3, Lake Superior 3 (OT): Connor Mulburn scored twice for the Lakers, while goaltenders Mason Kucenski and Andrew Oke each made 30 saves.
RIT 4, Colgate 2: Another strong win for RIT, now 4-2 on the season. The Tigers limited Colgate to just 18 shots.
Air Force 2, Brown 0: Dominik Wasik stopped all 13 shots for the shutout. Both Falcons goals came in the final nine minutes.
Lindenwood 1, Ferris State 0: Louis-Philippe Fontaine scored the lone goal. Ferris State outshot Lindenwood 31-17, but Liam Beerman turned aside every shot he faced.
Clarkson 6, Michigan Tech 4: A high-scoring, back-and-forth contest. Teydon Trembecky (MTU) and Owen Van Steensel (Clarkson) each scored twice.
