College Hockey Tonight (10/26/25): UMD pulls off the sweep of Minnesota

Minnesota Duluth 4, Minnesota 1 — The Bulldogs completed a statement sweep of the Gophers. Max Plante scored twice — his sixth and seventh goals of the season — while Adam Gajan stopped 28 shots.
Northeastern 1, Denver 0 — Lawton Zacher stole the show with a 35-save shutout as the Huskies upset Denver. Amine Hajibi scored the game’s only goal. Denver held a 35–14 edge in shots.
Providence 7, St. Thomas 4 — In a wild back-and-forth affair in St. Paul, Clint Levens opened the scoring for the Friars before St. Thomas rattled off four straight to take a 4–1 lead. Providence answered with six unanswered goals over the final 31:53. Both teams used two goaltenders after pulling their starters.
Miami 5, Lindenwood 4 (OT) — The unbeaten RedHawks (6–0–0) finished the sweep as Ryan Smith completed a hat trick — capped by the overtime winner — and added an assist. Olive Houde scored twice for Lindenwood.
UMass Lowell 4, Mercyhurst 3 — The River Hawks erased a 3–1 deficit with three third-period goals to finish the sweep. Dillan Bentley and Mirko Buttazzoni each scored twice.
Ohio State 3, Sacred Heart 0 — The Buckeyes blanked the Pioneers to earn a series split. Kristoffer Eberly made 21 saves in the shutout.
Notre Dame 2, Robert Morris 2 — Sutter Muzzatti gave the Irish a third-period lead with a power-play goal, but Michael Craig netted his first of the season with 5:43 left to earn the Colonials a tie.
St. Cloud State 5, Northern Michigan 1 — Austin Burnevik scored twice, and Tyson Gross dominated the faceoff dot, winning 20 of 25 draws.
Wisconsin 4, Alaska 1 — After Alaska opened the scoring, the Badgers answered with four straight goals — three in the third period — to complete the comeback win.
Penn State 4, Stonehill 2 — The Skyhawks hung tough again in Happy Valley, but JJ Wiebusch notched his ninth goal of the year and Gavin McKenna also scored to pace the Nittany Lions.
Minnesota State 2, RPI 1 — Despite being outshot 30–18, the Mavericks cashed in on two power plays. Felikss Gavars and Charlie Lurie scored for Minnesota State, while Alex Tracy was superb with 29 saves.
Michigan State 6, Northern Michigan 2 — The Spartans won their fifth straight. Tied 2–2 after two periods, Daniel Russell’s goal at 6:36 of the third stood as the game-winner before Michigan State pulled away.
North Dakota 1, Clarkson 0 — UND delivered a defensive masterclass to earn a split in the North Country. Keaton Verhoeff scored the lone goal, and Jan Špunar stopped all 17 shots he faced.
Maine 3, Colgate 2 (OT) — Down 2–0 in the first, the Black Bears clawed back with goals early in the second and third periods before Max Scott buried his first of the season in overtime for the win.
Long Island 5, Merrimack 2 — Brett Rylance and Dylan Kinch each scored twice for the Sharks, who fired 37 shots to Merrimack’s 48. Kinch also netted two goals in Friday’s contest.
Omaha 5, UMass 2 — The Mavericks built a 2–0 lead, watched UMass battle back to tie it, then exploded for three unanswered goals in the third period to take the win.
Quinnipiac 2, New Hampshire 0 — The Bobcats bounced back from Friday’s loss at Merrimack with goals from Chris Pelosi and Jeremy Wilmer. Dylan Silverstein made 21 saves for the shutout.Non-Conference

Boston University 3, Connecticut 1 — Boston University salvaged a weekend split with Connecticut behind a two-goal performance from Jack Harvard.
Atlantic Hockey
Holy Cross 5, Army 1 — The Crusaders erupted for five unanswered goals to earn a series split. Matt DeBoer scored twice for Holy Cross. Discipline was a major storyline, with the teams combining for 164 penalty minutes. That included a string of incidents at 2:41, 12:39, and 19:28 of the third period, resulting in four majors and 11 misconducts.
RIT 7, Air Force 3 — The Tigers completed a convincing AHA sweep as Boris Skalos posted a four-point night. Sam Stitz scored twice for Air Force.
Bentley 3, Canisius 0 — The Falcons swept the Griffins behind a 22-save shutout from Nicholas Bevilacqua.

Bowling Green 3, Lake Superior 2 — Goaltender Jacob Steinman turned aside 31 shots to backstop the Falcons to victory.
Michigan Tech 4, Ferris State 2 — The Huskies stormed out to a four-goal lead and held off a late Ferris State push in the second period to secure the win.
Bemidji State 3, Augustana 2 — Max Namestnikov had a goal and an assist as the Beavers struck twice early in the second period and hung on late.
