Breaking: Josh Hauge to be announced as Union head coach
Union is expected to announce the hiring of Josh Hauge as its new head coach. An announcement will come on Friday.
Hauge has been at Clarkson since 2015 and has been the associate head coach under Casey Jones for the last three seasons. Prior to his time at Clarkson he was the head coach and general manager of the Tri-City Storm in the USHL as well as the head coach of the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the NAHL. He also has spent time as an assistant on staff with the Fargo Force (USHL).
Hauge is a Minnesota native. He played at Bethel University from 1999-02.
Since Hauge joined Clarkson in 2015, the program has 131 victories, five 20-win campaigns, and they claimed the 2019 ECAC Hockey Championship Tournament title and participated in two (2018, 2019) NCAA Tournaments. The program also would have made the 2020 NCAA Tournament if it were not canceled due to COVID-19.
