College Hockey Insider obtained a copy of the proposal that the NCAA D-I council will vote on next week, which if approved, will pave the way for CHL players to become NCAA eligible. In this issue (#485), I’ll dive into the details and react to some things that stood out. For example, part of the proposed change might open the door for NCAA players to attend NHL training camps, provided they are still able to complete their academics.
In our notebook, North Dakota received a commitment from the first 2009-born player in college hockey.
