Auditing my preseason picks, and the latest on the transfer portal (#558)

Today's issue (#558) audits my 2024-25 preseason picks. Back in the summer, I began ranking every team 1-64 for the 2024-25 season. Who was I most wrong about? How did I do picking the league standings? What about picking NCAA Tournament teams? We'll break it all down.

This issue also includes:

• A full transfer portal update. The highest-ranked defenseman (Mac Gadowsky) and forward (Ryan Conmy) both committed to new schools in recent days. Overall, there are 12 commitments written up in this issue and five new entries.

• In our notebook, Bob Motzko has been tabbed the next U.S. World Junior head coach, Michigan added a top CHL player, and I expect more CHL commitments soon. Plus, which Big Ten team is taking some "big swings" in the CHL market?
