The American Hockey Coaches Association convention is underway in Naples, Fla. this week.
In today’s issue, I have notes on the discussions surrounding CHL players and the NCAA regional format. Plus, what’s the latest on Atlantic Hockey expansion?

— The NCAA’s business model is about to change. According to ESPN, the NCAA is in negotiations to settle a lawsuit that would end the NCAA’s current amateurism model and allow it to compensate players.
