(#385) UMass is back in a qualifying position for this week's bracket projection after a one-week hiatus; Fallout from the ASU-Alaska fight
Massachusetts is back in a qualifying position this week, which created the need for some movement in our bracket projection. The Minutemen have to play in Springfield as the host there, and there was only one logical flip, which resulted in another eastern team traveling west.
More of the NCAA Tournament picture is taking shape. I promoted two more teams to “locks” for the NCAA Tournament this week (even if they lose their remaining games).
ASU and Alaska brawled on Friday night, resulting in two players (Tucker Ness and Dawson Bruneski) getting suspended for the rest of the season after they left the penalty box to fight.
But, why was Ness in the box to begin with?
