Today’s issue begins with a look at the transfer portal, including three new additions and two commitments (players to Quinnipiac and Union).

— Alaska head coach Erik Largen had a unique clause worked into his new contract extension.

— There’s some speculation that Adam Fantilli and Logan Cooley might return for their sophomore seasons.

— Logan Pietila and Blake Pietila will play a fifth year at Michigan Tech. Sam Lipkin and Jayden Lee will also return to Quinnipiac.

— A mailbag on teams hiring a third assistant and which NHL clubs might target college coaches this offseason.

— Newswire items on former Merrimack coach Mark Dennehy running the Boston Marathon and Luke Hughes’ first NHL goal.
