(#145) Previewing the Eastern series, MSU AD says he'll meet with Cole

In this issue (#145), I preview the playoff games/series in the East this weekend. Plus, I look at the situation at Michigan State. Head coach Danton Cole said earlier this week that he believed he was going to return as head coach, but the MSU AD would not confirm to the Lansing State Journal that Cole would return, and said they would meet with Cole to discuss the future of the program.

But what’s the real problem at Michigan State? Is it simply the coach? Or is it more the circumstances that changed for the program, particularly since they joined the Big Ten?

Also, Augustana is moving ahead in its hiring process. Plus, more names have entered the transfer portal and I have the complete list of names I’ve been able to verify are in the portal
