(#128) Emails show Pearson pushed to cancel WMU game
In today’s edition (#128), there were emails released via the Freedom of Information Act which show that Michigan head coach Mel Pearson was pushing to cancel the game with Western Michigan at the end of December. Pearson had said that the program was “not involved or had any involvement in the decision,” and said the decision came solely from the medical staff.
Also, the Arizona Coyotes could play at Arizona State’s new arena. ASU and Western Michigan both had players leave the program, and a Northeastern forwarded was added to a USHL protected list. Also, Western Michigan’s captain has been suspended for a violation of team rules.
